The front extruded aluminum radiant emitter panel is designed with a flat surface, containing no dust-collecting ridges, and coated with a high-emissivity, non-gloss, non-fading, color-stable, high-temperature coating.
The cove heater is equipped with a full-length rear reflective ventilated radiant reflector. The rear reflector is made of solid 18-gauge steel construction, with reflective interior and exterior surfaces for maximum radiant efficiency.
Each Comfort Cove heater is equipped with an electrical junction box located at each end and comes with two ½ inch electrical knock-outs. Internal grounding screws are also provided.
The internal wiring conductors are 12 gauge and rated for 125°C with cross-linked insulation and UL certification.
Comfort Cove heaters are available in five different colors and three specific voltages: 240V, 208V, and 120V. They are available in nine dimensional lengths with output levels ranging up to 2000W.
The heating element is made of silicone-impregnated magnesium oxide, compacted 80/20 nickel-chrome wire, and is epoxy sealed for maximum electrical integrity. The element wire is 12 gauge stranded and rated for 125°C.
